The Catering Services offers freshly prepared and cooked meals catering for all hospitality needs in house or outside of the Trust, providing hot and cold meals and finger buffets of the highest quality. The catering provided to the Hospital is one of the only few NHS sites that offer this freshly cooked service.
The department is committed to meeting the needs of those requiring certain health related nutritional requirements and diets including vegetarian, Halal or Kosher (prepared in accordance with the dietary guidelines of Jewish and Islamic laws). Supporting local companies for food supplies, using only Red Tractor certified meat and sustainable fish, and do not use any GM food items or foods with added trans fats.
There is a large team made up of different roles from chefs, diet clerks, kitchen porters and catering assistants, who strive to make meals: a time everyone looks forward to.
